Donation, payment etc

as we all know everything has it's price and value and probably no material thing comes for free so.. a concept of a totally free server is a nonsence because maintaining a server costs money. but maintainers are free to choose particular ways of making money..

ppl, as most of u are ancient paradise players, I wanted to ask u one thing what about a monetary system in paradise is it something like in supreme or BFD

well I personally prefer a regular payment for playing on paradise to "donation" when u get some things back like a free occupation change, a status of a noblesse..or some material that u are able to sell for adena to other players and make a fortune in game.. I think such things screw up the whole game and because of the fact of getting some things back for the money u pay.. thats not a donation at all, I think its a commerce what is more, it's a crime because ppl must pay taxes for any kind of paid service.

Donation system on paradise is not set yet. And most of us played on totaly free server on paradise, Virtue (by totaly free I ment suported by donators from other 2 paradise servers, dont remember names).
As far as I understud donation system will be for class change quest or stuf like that. Ken policy is that donation system to not intefier with server economy. But donation system will be set up when server will go life, till then no 1 know what donation system will be aplyed.

so thats not a donation as far as I know donation is giving smth without expecting to get anything for it. I wouldn't be surprised if such things happen in LTU.. but paradise is an american server.. U.S. is a country with an extremely developed legal system, so I can't believe that they have no cyber-police there, who I think should be interested in pointing the difference between donation and payment for some service or privileges (f.e. a class change) via internet

one more thing I think that giving some ppl a privilege of class change w/o making a quest affects server economy. ofc, this effect is not so visible.. but still it exists, because not making a quest gives u more time for other things. so the ones who "donate" are always one step further than others, economic wealth is not an exception I think

I truly hope they will deliberate upon this matter

You are wright .. but donation is for helping server and quest help is a thanks for that service U can see that way.
Any way we will see "donation" system when server will be close to go live. Till then we can only speculate.

yeap, we will see but I would really prefer a normal regual payment.. because then the only thing u get is game and an equal status of players, no privileges

Well if there will be donations via mobile I will donate .... even if no reward ....

If there will be reward for class change and not too expensive i will still donate ... why not everyone has chanse to do it.

There is 1 type of donations that im realy against. Armors, weapons and enchanting .... that is whar rly ruins game play.

Well actualy server is for free. You wont need to pay for play ..... and also some people cant waste 5 euros on sucha thing as game.

lol so I think they should go and get a job/a better job instead of wasting time in game, if they are so poor however, I think most of ppl are simply greedy
